Bridgestone has launched the all new Turanza 6 across Australia and New Zealand, marking one
of the largest touring tyre updates the brand has released in years. Replacing the long running
T005, the Turanza 6 arrives with major improvements across wet performance, rolling resistance
and road noise.

In Bridgestone’s own internal testing, the Turanza 6 showcases notably shorter wet road stopping distances and better steering precision on wet surfaces—key performance areas for real Australian driving conditions, especially during summer storms and winter frosts.

Drivers coming from the T005 will instantly notice the quieter ride. The tread pattern has been Re-engineered to reduce airborne noise, while the compound has been updated to reduce vibration through the cabin. The result is a tyre that feels more premium, more stable and more sure footed during high speed highway runs.

Perhaps the biggest upgrade is its EV rating. With stronger load support, improved rolling efficiency and better tread stability underweight, the Turanza 6 is positioned as a strong option for popular Aussie EVs and hybrids like the Tesla Model 3, BYD Atto 3, Toyota Camry Hybrid and RAV4 Hybrid.

Bridgestone says the Turanza 6 is built for drivers who want a tyre that can handle the unpredictable mix of Aussie roads—smooth motorway, coarse country bitumen and everything inbetween.
