Jared Mendham: Good day. I've been driving on these Cooper AT3 XLT's for about 13,000 k's now, and I've taken them on some adventures. We went up to the North east of Tasmania and got stuck and that wasn't the tyres fault though, and we've taken them on some serious gravel roads. But just after I got them fitted, one of the first things that I noticed was that they're actually a really comfortable tyre. And the way how I noticed that was by hitting the cat's eyes in the middle of the road. You know, those little reflectors.

Jared Mendham: And so, as I hit some now and see if you can see if you can hear them. What I notice, compared to the previous tyre that I had on, you actually feel those cats eyes significantly less and that means that they're going to be more comfortable on the road.

Jared Mendham: That also translates to being more comfortable on the trail as well. So, I've noticed that on trials that I'd usually let the tyres down a little bit, I don't actually have to wear down at all, or very little, because they're a lot more comfortable on the trail.

Jared Mendham: The Cooper AT3 XLT is a comfortable tyre but how does it go on the road? I've actually found that it's been really, really good on the road. I'm an aggressive driver as you may already know. I like to push things and these tyres have kept up with me. I did find on a really high speed trip down some gravel road it was just on the edge of the limit, that they did feel a little bit floaty, but other than that they've actually done a really good job. So, hard twisty corners, they've been fine. It hasn't felt floaty at all on high speed straights or whatever. And also, just around town they've just been normal, they've been fine.

Jared Mendham: So, in the wet, they've also been very impressive. So I do a little test around roundabouts to see if the back of the Ute swings out, so you know, it's my seat of the pants, roundabout testing the damp, and actually it's quite difficult. You have to put a whole bunch of herbs back in to get the back end to swing out. And so they're actually really got a lot of confidence in the wet as well.

Jared Mendham: So overall I'd actually really highly rate these tyres. The Cooper AT3 XLT definitely gets a 10 out of 10 for me. And if you want to see more of these videos, don't forget to hit the red button down there and like and subscribe.
