Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX 050+ Reviews

Our mechanic suggested that the tyres needed changing soon, which I was shocked about at being so soon. Before I could get around to it a horrid rear end noise developed which i thought may have been the rear diff or wheeling bearing noise. Back to the mechanic who said to change the tyes first as he suspected it was the wheel bearing but get the tyres replaced first so we can rule them out. So new tyres fitted (different brand) and the noise has completely gone. I have never had such noisy tyres when nearing replacement. Would not reccomend just for that reason and the quick wear rating.

I use a big SUV for big family, also as I do Triathlon, always bike , bags and long etc. I was using standard tyres but with this new, driving as improve a lot!!!

Asked for a tyre from dealer that had 2 qualities. Wear well and be quiet. These tyres are extremely noisy even more so as the tread starts to wear and I will be lucky to get 36000km out of them

I think these tyres are a fair replacement for the original equipment.I find the steering to be precise and braking as good as original tyres.5000k is a little early to notice the wear rate.

I wasnt 100% sure about these when I got them recommended to me because stock the came with DUNLOP sp sport maxx and to me they werent good at all and I was told that I'll tell the difference if I purchased these 050+ so I couldn't say no.. I have to say i could totally feel the difference good grip on dry roads and same in the wet, I have high performance car so I needed a good tyre and this tyre has lived up to my expectations it has good tread pattern which I do look for most the time, tread wear is good it is a really trippy tyre.. very happy which this tyre

I love my tyres so much I wouldn't want to change for anything.

Have only put approx 1,000klm on them, but have to say I'm pretty impressed as it had Pirelli tyres before and were a bit lapsed on grip (I love grip) and the dunlops are so much gripier especially when wet, gives a lot more confidence.Very happy so far
