Description
The BluEarth-Van RY55 is Yokohama’s flagship tyre for vans, providing the perfect combination of wear resistance, wet grip and fuel efficiency. Wear resistance and wet grip performance have been enhanced by the development of a special tread pattern along with a revised profile thatoptimises surface contact and pressure. The new compound includes triple polymer to boost the tyre’s durability and resistance to uneven wear and silica to enhance fuel efficiency and wet grip performance. - Circumferential Tread Grooves - Wide Straight grooves along with multiple triangle blocks create better water drainage shortening wet braking by 9%* (*Compared to its predecessor Delivery Star RY818).
- Tough Shoulder Design - Deep Shoulder grooves optimise surface contact which reduces uneven wear & promotes increased mileage.
- Fuel Efficient Compound - Employing silica in the compound enhances the Rolling Resistance of the tyre by 19%*. This allows for less fuel consumption making the tyre environmentally friendly (*Compared to its predecessor Delivery Star RY818).
- Improved Tread Compound - Triple polymer utilised in the new compound resists against uneven wear equating to high durability.
